Aki-Con was a blast. I haven't had that much fun at a con for a while.
Leading up to Aki-Con...
The <S>days</s> weeks leading up to Aki-Con were so coatic. By last Tuesday I remember thinlking "I leave for Aki on Friday morning, my cosplay isn't even started."
I spent 6 hours after school on Tuesday, 3.5 hours on wednesday and about 2.5 hours on Thursday morning and 1 hour that night on Toad. And somehow it got done, and by somehow I of course mean ~o0arwen0o who is an amazingly awesome friend and helped me by cutting the costume for me. Her fancy way of cutting cricle skirts is fancy.
Got up at 5am at ~XDuctTaperX's house with barely 3 hours of sleep in me. We headed down to the train station to meet up with ~K-a-i-z-o-k-u and hop on a train. The train ride was super fun. Although I was so sleepy I barely remember why it was so fun...?
Got to Everett around 10/10:30ish, went on the hunt for the hotel, checked in, did a little dance then had the first of many looooong trips at Denny's.
I started off in my Zidane cosplay which was super fun : D Then I found some kickass Persona 3 cosplayers ~omae-no-yome and the other one I can't seem to find on DA yet ;o;. Anyways, Uzuki was my beautiful Chidori. I changed into Junpei and epic photos and general awesome is had. Being Junpei is much more fun with other P3 guys.
Saturday I debuted my Toad cosplay! It was SO well recivied. I can't get over how many people knew the costume! I'm so glad everyone liked it! ;o; I even had adorable little girls as fans for the day <3
Sunday I was in Toad for about two hours to get photos with *VandorWolf and then back into Junpei for travel.
I kinda just did a quick summary... But yes, more awesomes...
I don't think I could even make a list of all the awesome people I met/got to know better/haven't seen them for a while!
*Valdrein coming and staying in our room was fantastic :'D I miss you all the time! Knock on my glass doors again!
Thanks to everyone who was so awesome! Including the awesome artist in the AA who gave me a beautiful Roarshach print ;o; I TREASURE IT. <3
There will be a better update on what I'm up to in the new year once Romeo and Juliet starts next week. Until then my teacher is gonna chain me to a sewing machine...
